There are a number of benefits to using Digication ePortfolios at your university. Not only can you create an online presence for yourself and your students, but you’ll also be able to communicate with your peers. The platform includes tutorials to help you get started with your ePortfolio.
Digication ePortfolios are a great way for students to showcase their work. They’re easily shareable with others, which makes them accessible to people outside of the university. You can create a link to your ePortfolio from your course site navigation bar or from the Tools menu in D2L.
Code of Academic Integrity
The Code of Academic Integrity for D2L Arizona is intended to promote honesty and ethical conduct in class and in labs and clinical assignments. The Code supplements the Student Code of Conduct and disciplinary procedures of the ABOR, which apply to all University of Arizona students. If a student violates this Code, he or she will be held responsible and may face sanctions.
A student can be sanctioned for a violation of the Code of Academic Integrity if the violation of the Code was a repeat offense. Multiple violations may result in additional sanctions, including suspension or expulsion. These additional sanctions are determined by the Academic Dean.
During the first week of classes, D2L course sites are activated automatically. However, if you have not received an email from your instructor within this time, you will need to contact him/her to request a new course site. You can also manually deactivate a course site. Students should also visit the System Status page to check the status of their course site and other IT services. If the status of these services is not good, contact the IT Support Center to have it fixed.
