Online Education

Active participation in class discussions is a powerful tool for online education. These discussions are a way to allow students to work together and share ideas. These allows students to process information better and retain more information. In addition, students who participate in active learning learn more from each other than from a professor. A key component of these discussions is the community of inquiry model.

As a course instructor, you can have a significant impact on your learners’ experience. You should create a plan for interacting with your learners and set minimum participation goals. This will help you demonstrate that you are actively engaged with your learners, while also preventing overcontribution.
